Inner Growth Exercise of the Day: What Does It Mean To Be Different
Exploring what it means to be different; how one situation to many situations can bring about this feeling; why inner growth gets you to accept and explore, as well as get to know this difference that is a part of you (the essence of you); how it is important to go to your heart to understand it, while accepting the differences of others; and what you can do to embrace your differences, while also co-exist in harmony with the external.
Your Inner Growth Exercise of The Day depending on where you are in your journey:
- Inner Growth Exercise for Beginners: Make a list of what you identify within you as different from others and the world you live in. Go through your list and write a couple of feelings that come about as you read the list. Explore each feeling and find out how you work with your differences to accept them with love, as well as accept with neutrality how others and the world feels about these differences.
- Inner Growth Exercise for Intermediate: Find the judgements you apply to your differences, as well as other people’s and the world’s differences from you. For each judgment find a place of neutrality that allows you to let go of the judgement and accept from heart who you are and who others are, and the world is.
- Inner Growth Exercise for Advanced: Journal about how you go through differences now that you are able to be in harmony with you, others and the world. Go in-depth on the continuous inner growth that takes place and the impartiality you embody as you experience these day-to-day interactions with the external. Also, write about anything that stands out to you from the heart.
