Inner Growth Exercise of The Day 344 – Articulating Feelings That Overwhelm The Brain

Exploring the intricate nature of articulating feelings that overwhelm the brain; a look at what happens with overwhelming feelings, particularly sharing at first the mechanisms of brain with trauma, then leading to the applicability of this same knowledge to feelings that overwhelm us and why the day-to-day life with its unknowns should not be discounted; and how inner growth plays a role in acknowledging what you can do in these moments, from the inner power you hold (mind and heart talk) that can get you to choose to articulate all feelings anytime you’d like, to the shifting of your awareness and raising of your consciousness to this option (from within) in the moment of overwhelming feelings, which assists you to go beyond.

Inner Growth Exercise of the Day: Articulating Feelings That Overwhelm The Brain

Your Inner Growth Exercise of The Day depending on where you are in your journey:

  1. Inner Growth Exercise for Beginners: Make it a habit to articulate daily on major feelings that you experience throughout the day. If not daily, do this at least once or twice a week, and when going through a moment of inner conflict. Keep a journal where you expand on descriptively and with lists of words the way you think through these feelings. From here, identify one to three new ways you’d like to think through the feelings with unconditional love for self and the external in the forefront.
  1. Inner Growth Exercise for Intermediate: Look to all articulations that include duality that do not go beyond their set descriptions, judgements, definitions, etc. Everything that holds a limit on how you describe the feelings is what you want to add unconditional love and neutrality to, open your heart and mind and attempt re-articulating it in a way that creates (brings) love, flow and lightness from within.
  1. Inner Growth Exercise for Advanced: Journal about your newfound ways to articulate all overwhelming feelings you experience. Also make a list of the inner growth lessons that come through the experiences, as well as any ideas you have on how to help others with this process in moments when they are overwhelmed by feelings they can’t communicate in the way that expresses the entirety of what they’re going through/feeling.

Your turn – Share your experience with your inner growth exercise of the day depending on where you are in your journey😊
