- Inner Growth Exercise for Beginners: Any time you know forgiveness is needed regarding a person or situation take the time to write out your feelings, understand the dynamics and conflicts. With that list handy, next to each thing you wrote about place an aspect that brings in neutrality and allows you to start bringing forth forgiveness.
- Inner Growth Exercise for Intermediate: Letting go of control in situations where forgiveness is the optimal solution is something you want to bring to your awareness as soon as you notice the control components. It could be a right/wrong thing or expectations, or even fear of the unknown so management to ensure the outcome you want. Whatever the case, identify three to five areas of control and next to each place a neutral perspective that allows you to let go of control and bring forth forgiveness from the heart.
- Inner Growth Exercise for Advanced: When you are aware that forgiveness is taking place, take some time to write about your inner growth experience. What things are you still learning about you, what feelings are surfacing, what old habits have yet to be let go of completely.
