Inner Growth Exercise of the Day: Managing The Needs That Others Throw Your Way
Exploring managing the needs that others throw your way; how to do this from the heart, while also pursuing inner growth from the experience; why others throw their needs your way and how to handle it with care, compassion, and respect toward self and other; what inner harmony can help with as you are being thrown others’ needs; and how to work through sense of guilt or other feelings that can arise from need-based situations between two or people.
Your Inner Growth Exercise of The Day depending on where you are in your journey:
- Inner Growth Exercise for Beginners: When someone is being needy without understanding your needs, take some time to decide on different ways you can respect your needs, while sharing a loving no to the person or alternative option that can fit both (of your) needs. Journal about what you learn from the experience about yourself, the management of emotions with heart and love in the forefront, and what inner growth came about.
- Inner Growth Exercise for Intermediate: When you find yourself or others making demands/requests from each other and these needs can’t be met, take a look at the thoughts that cross your mind and feelings you experience. Find the duality and replace with unconditional love for self and others, as well as understanding for the situation. Then decide on one to three ways you can deal with it with an open, neutral, and loving heart for all.
- Inner Growth Exercise for Advanced: Journal about the different ways you are able to manage needs thrown your way with love, neutrality, impartiality and impart something useful to self and/or others for inner growth, expansion of consciousness, and that higher potential that can help resolve the need through unconditional love.
