Control and inner growth action steps:
- In-depth self-exploration questions: When do I apply control in my life? How does control help me in the things I want to do? Why does control take place when it does? How does control affect my life? When do I let go of control? What ways do I control things throughout my day? How does control affect my relationships? What have I learned about myself through my exploration of control?
- List or word bubble: Make a list or word bubble with control at the center and then list or put around it all the words that come to mind associated with it. Next think of one instance where control was a big part of what happened and write about the situation using the words from your list.
- Bring your awareness to your feelings about control and pay close attention to where the first emotions arise. From the moment you notice that emotion where does it flow to and how does it change depending on the situations you think about. As you do this ensure you visualize a continuous flow of emotions.
