Inner Growth Word of The Day 363 – Inequality

December 29

Inner Growth Word of the Day: Inequality

Merriam-Webster Dictionary definition: (n.) 1. the quality of being unequal or uneven.  2. an instance of being unequal.

Inequality in a sentence: Inequality can be felt and/or experienced, it all depends on the situation at hand.

Inequality in action: When something is not the same in treatment or measurement, that is inequality.

Inequality and inner growth: A look at how you feel about and live inequality through thoughts, actions, and heart allow you to pursue inner growth as you find balance in all the different situations presented to you in time.

Inequality and inner growth action steps:

  1. In-depth self-exploration questions: What does inequality mean to me? How has inequality affected my life?  How has inequality affected my relationships?  When did I first talk about inequality?  Why does inequality take place when it does?  Who has affected my thoughts on inequality?

  1. List or word bubble: Make a list or word bubble with inequality at the center and then list or put around it all the words that come to mind associated with it. Write about three instances that come to mind of inequality that you’ve dealt with and use the words from your list.

  1. Bring your awareness to your feelings about inequality and pay close attention to where the emotions start out and how they flow, but also to where do they flow. If you have recurring feelings building up in certain areas visualize them as water flowing down a stream and away from you.

Your turn – Share your inequality sentence, life examples, and inner growth action steps; and let me know if you’d like to see something added to our Inner Growth Word of The Day explorations 🙂
