Inner Growth Word of the Day: Logical
Merriam-Webster Dictionary definition: (adj.) 1 a1. of, relating to, involving, or being in accordance with logic. 1 b. formally true or valid.
Logical in a sentence: What seems logical to you, may not seem so logical to someone else.
Logical in action: When there is a coherent and linear thought pattern of how things work together that makes sense to you, that is logical.
Logical and inner growth: Exploring your logical thought pattern helps you with inner growth as you become fully aware of how that pattern and logic affect your thoughts, actions, reactions and choices.
Logical and inner growth action steps:
- In-depth self-exploration questions: What is something logical to me? How do things I deem logical differ from other people’s logical reasoning? When did I first notice that what was logical to me wasn’t always logical to someone else? How does my logical reasoning affect my life? How does my logical pattern of choices affect my relationships? What changes has my logical thought pattern gone through?
- List or word bubble: Make a list or word bubble with logical at the center and then list or put around it all the words that come to mind associated with it. From this list what logical thought comes to mind? Write about it using the words from your list.
- Bring your awareness to your feelings about what is logical to you and notice the flow pattern of those emotions, as well as what emotions are more obvious. If any feelings seem to settle down in certain places visualize a flowing stream of water and those emotions following the current.
