July 6

Inner Growth Word of the Day: Abundance

Merriam-Webster Dictionary definition: (n.) 1. an ample quantity.  2. affluence, wealth.  3. relative degree of plentifulness.

Abundance in a sentence: A state of abundance is something everyone can have with the right mindset.

Abundance in action: When you feel and see prosperity, whether it’s emotional or material, that is abundance.

Abundance and inner growth: Exploring what level of abundance you see in your life can get you to find the things within you that you want to work on so they bring you to see the wealth around you.  This process leads to inner growth for the resolution of those lacks and instilling a natural tendency to see prosperity in all the things life brings your way.

Abundance and inner growth action steps:

  1. In-depth self-exploration questions: What is abundance to me? How much abundance do I see in my life?  When did I first think about abundance?  What have I learned about my life from seeing abundance?  Who has influenced my outlook on abundance?  How has my life changed since I started seeing abundance?

  1. List or word bubble: Make a list or word bubble with abundance at the center and then list or put around it all the other words that come to mind associated with it. From this list pick the word that stands out the most and write about why it stands out so much to you.  Use the rest of the words from your list to write out your story.

  1. Bring your awareness to your feelings about abundance and allow them to flow without thinking about anything. Notice where your emotions go and pinpoint those emotions that stand out the most.  When you’re ready, let thoughts come in and focus on the one thought that gives you the biggest feeling.  Then allow it to continue telling you what abundance is to you.
