Google’s Dictionary/Search definition: (n.) 1. an intense feeling of deep affection.
Love in a sentence: Love is one of those feelings that fills our entire being with that indescribable magical and tingly sensation of euphoria.
Love in action: When love is present between people and/or life in general, the most amazing things come to be.
Love and inner growth: Since love is one of those feelings that can uplift us at any time, it is helpful to our inner growth. Not only can love re-energize us, but when you choose to stop and notice what type of relationship you have with love, you can also find out if there’s something more to explore (within).
Love and inner growth action steps:
- In-depth self-exploration questions: When I think of love, what’s the first thing that comes to mind? When I think of love, how do I feel inside? Do I think love is a feeling that everyone experiences? What place does love have in my life? Do I judge love? If yes, how so? What role does love play in my inner growth journey?
- List or word bubble: Make a list or word bubble with love at the center and then list or put around it all the words that come to mind associated with it. Now think of an image for each word you wrote down associated to love. Now think of an image for the word love. When you’re up for it (have the time), search for the images that came to mind and create a collage of them, with the image that came to mind for love at the center.
- Bring your awareness to your feelings about love and identify where you notice its affects within you first (maybe a warm feeling in your heart area or maybe a tingly sensation in your abdomen). Try to notice if those sensations grow or change as you think of love (the feeling). Then try thinking of love that you have for your loved ones and see if there’s a difference in the sensations you feel now than you did before (when just thinking about love the feeling).
