Inner Growth Thought of the Day: Embracing Things You Don’t Understand Yet
When it comes to things you don’t understand yet, you can choose to leave them as is or use those moments to explore the depths and unlimited options that lie ahead.
Inner growth gets you to embrace things you don’t understand yet thanks to the curiosity it puts at play by getting you to go within and find out what’s going on in your inner core. This awareness and contemplation of your within (inner core) gets you to also go to depths with the feelings associated with what you don’t understand yet. As you see the learning that comes from exploring what you don’t understand yet from within, you embrace it more and more, each time it comes to be with some event, situation or person.
Here are some ways to use inner growth to embrace things you don’t understand yet.
- When you find yourself frustrated by something you don’t understand yet take five to ten minutes to think about your frustration. Write two to three things that are the source of your frustration from within, not by focusing on the not understanding part. Decide one thing you’re going to do to bring patience in instead of frustration.
- Look back to the year that is coming to an end and make a list of all the things you didn’t understand at the beginning of it, but that now at the end of it, have become clear. Write about how this clarity came to be in time and how you can apply this experience in the new year when you don’t understand something (yet).
- Whenever you notice that you feel you don’t understand something your inner core (heart, the essence of you) is trying to tell you through life, take some time to ponder over the feelings that you experience. As you explore the depths of these feelings, also decide on small steps you’ll take to bring forth the vague idea you have about what you do understand yet from your inner core.
Your turn – Share your inner growth thought of the day, a sentence, life examples, or action steps you take with new beginnings 😊
