Inner Growth Thought of the Day: Speaking Your Truth While Releasing Attachments

Tune in to the Inspiring Human Potential podcast on Anchor to hear more on the topic 😊

Speaking your truth from the heart gets you to also release and/or face attachments that are holding you back from doing so completely and in total flow.

Through inner growth you explore those attachments that come to the surface through an experience or a thought and interaction, and one by one from within (your heart, your inner core, the essence of you) you consciously choose your truth or refuse it.  As you do this inner work you also acknowledge the attachments that keep you from going with the flow, following your inner core, and expressing it without feeling like you shouldn’t, and decide if you’re ready to let go of them and tap in to your power for transformation.

Here are some ways to apply inner growth in your life so that you may work toward speaking your truth while releasing attachments long-term.

  1. Any time you notice you’ve held back from speaking your true thoughts ask yourself a series of questions as to why. From the answers you give notice what components take place (insecurities, fears of rejection, ridicule, etc.) and decide on one way you are going to bring forth your truth with respect for others, but without worrying about the external (the judgment of them on what you have to say).

  1. At the end of the year pick the one truth from your heart that you shared repeatedly and in different circumstances. Notice how doing this helped you resolve any fears or insecurities you were dealing with and write about one way you’re going to use this experience to help give you the courage to speak your truth from the heart in the year to come too.

  1. Take a couple minutes every so many weeks or months to make a list of the top truths from your heart that you think of most in your day-to-day. Write about any challenges you face and how inner growth has helped you learn from these challenges, let go of attachments, and bring forth your heart-felt truth in the moment.

Your turn – Share your inner growth thought of the day, a sentence, life examples, or action steps you take with new beginnings 😊
