Inner Growth Thought of the Day: Following Your Passions & Purpose In Life
Following your passions and purpose in life isn’t as straightforward as one would hope; but if you’re tuned in to your inner core (the essence of you and heart) and choose to trust it to guide you at the very least you won’t be led astray.
Thanks to an inner growth journey you are able to follow your passions and purpose in life because you are choosing to awaken to you, raise your consciousness in the moment, and follow the feeling that is coming from within, even though that feeling isn’t quite clear (yet). Inner growth gets you to learn about your inner core (the essence of you and heart), to decipher what it has to say to you by getting you to look within (to your inner core) due to or following something from the outside (the external) bringing about a contrast or reaction or just a something that calls your attention.
Here are some ways to use inner growth to follow your passions and purpose in life, even gain knowledge of them as you follow what may be unclear in form, but clear in essence (from your inner core and heart – your emotions, feelings, intuitions, etc.).
- A great daily habit you want to implement is to pay attention to how you wake up in the morning. Whatever feelings you notice contemplate what they are tied to/connected to in the day (ahead). Feelings that are not flowing with your inner core are the ones you want to look to transform. So next to those ones also identify what you’re going to do to bring about a transformation to them that leads to synergy with your heart (inner core, the essence of you).
- At the end of a year look back to what passions you pursued and add to your list one more way you’re going to bring more of your passions in to your day-to-day the next year (new year). If you notice you weren’t able to pursue any passions, choose one passion you’re going to bring forth in the year to come in a way that works (integrates harmoniously, not forced) with the life you’re pursuing.
- Whenever you think of your purpose in life write down one word that describes that purpose. Create a mental list or a written list that you add to every time you think about your purpose from the heart. At your own time look to the list and write a small paragraph or so describing how you’re bringing forth this purpose through the things you do.
Your turn – Share your inner growth thought of the day, a sentence, life examples, or action steps you take with new beginnings 😊
