Being able to count on yourself in the absence of defensiveness or judgement towards others is an amazing stepping stone for your inner growth and overall life.

 

When you find out that you (yourself) have your back, and that the things that happen aren’t indicative of something you are lacking, this helps you to go the distance in counting on yourself.  Thanks to the knowledge you’re gaining regarding the trust you can have in your inner core leading you well you get to count on yourself every day more.

 

Here are some ways to count on yourself through inner growth and finally putting a stop to the vicious cycles of needing someone or something.

 

  1. Anytime you find yourself judging someone for not being there, ask yourself how you were able to count on yourself.

 

  1. Once a year pick one of the events where you were able to count on yourself without the need of inner exploration. Use the characteristics from situation to use those traits the next time you find yourself doubting that you are able to count on yourself.

 

  1. Pay attention to when you’re counting on yourself to get through something tough and notice if there’s a lack of love in the moment. Bring love forth for yourself so that you may bring a positive experience into the picture.
