Inner Growth Thought of the Day: Accepting Who You Are Completely
Accepting who you are completely requires you to face many things, including those vices that are accepted as the norm by society (such as revenge or jealousy).
All things that bring a sense of uneasiness and that take from others are an indication of something you have yet to bring to consciousness and as you pursue inner growth, you are able to bring these things to the surface. Acknowledging them and where they come from (arise from) is the first step to acceptance of who you are, but also of how you can transform the lack to bring forth the person you know you are from the heart.
Here are some ways to use your inner growth journey to accept who you are completely.
- Weekly or monthly, make a list of the things you accept of you and the things you don’t. Explore both and pay attention to your feelings, then find what you can do from the heart to remove the wounds and hurts of the things you don’t accept of who you are so that you may transform them into the things you know are more in tune with the real you.
- Once a year take a look back at the one thing you accepted of you in the year that allowed you to make a jump forward in expressing your unlimited potential (both feeling wise and through your actions).
- Every time you notice you’re not accepting something about yourself, ask yourself at least three questions of why this is the case. For each answer you provide to your questions place next to it the action you will take to accept yourself completely (with the knowledge that you can bring about transformation in you).
Your turn – Share your inner growth thought of the day, a sentence, life examples, or action steps you take with new beginnings 😊
