Inner Growth Thought of the Day: What To Look For In Things That Seem Unfavorable

Tune in to the Inspiring Human Potential podcast on Anchor to hear more on the topic 😊

When something seems to be unfavorable, there are many things you can uncover about you (as you explore the situation through inner growth).

Your inner exploration gives you the insights on expectations or fears or wants that are clashing with the situation you’re facing. Since inner growth is all about learning this also transforms the unfavorable to favorable because you are able to use it to bring forth a transformation that benefits you long-term.

Here are some ways to look to what seems unfavorable with inner growth in mind and in doing so transform the unfavorable to favorable, while gaining knowledge of you and having the opportunity to bring forth a positive transformation in your life.

  1. Anytime you deem something unfavorable write about two to three things that make it so. As you read the things you listed, bring to consciousness what your filters and judgements are in this situation and how they are playing a role in deeming it unfavorable.

  1. Once a year look back at those things that you saw as unfavorable at first, but that by the end of the situation turned out to be positives for you. Identify how you could have removed your judgement of the situations to allow them to play out and for you to be in a neutral and open mindset in the moment.

  1. For every time you think of something unfavorable, immediately bring to mind one favorable thing about it for your inner growth journey.

Your turn – Share your inner growth thought of the day, a sentence, life examples, or action steps you take with new beginnings 😊
