Inner Growth Thought of the Day: Observations With Inner Growth In Mind
Observations with inner growth in mind get you to continuously learn about you, your surroundings, people and situations, and put into practice different ways to be at your best in those moments, as well as grow as a person (from within and in relationship to the external).
Since when dealing with any situation or person or group of people through inner growth you’re in a learning mindset, the observer in you has the tendency to come out; but it is only when you apply consciousness to that moment that you can start filtering through different inputs and become completely aware of all the inputs (you, your inner core, your filters, other people’s filters, etc.). With this awareness you are then able to absorb new information, add new decisions/options to your thought process, and put into practice new or expanded approaches, and so on.
Here are some ways to observe with inner growth in mind.
- Whenever you notice you’re in a situation where you can observe different dynamics (you, your thoughts, inner core’s voice, and others, their thoughts, perspectives, etc.) take a moment to silence your mind and then focus on the different feelings that arise. Write about the feelings that stood out and why they came about.
- Once a year take two to three situations where you were able to be solely an observer and write a list of the inner core discoveries you made thanks to your being an observer, a list about what you learned about others once you were able to remove your filters thanks to being an observer, and anything else that stood out from those observational moments.
- Every morning remind yourself of three ways you will bring observation to consciousness to the events and things that take place and put into practice an inner growth mindset in the moment of observation.
Your turn – Share your inner growth thought of the day, a sentence, life examples, or action steps you take with new beginnings 😊
