Inner Growth Thought of the Day: Going The Distance Through Inner Growth

Tune in to the Inspiring Human Potential podcast on Anchor to hear more on the topic 😊

Going the distance in life should be a collaborative effort and not one of competition with one’s self.  It is by working with you that you go the distance, which is why inner growth is so important.

Through an inner growth approach every event that comes your way as you pursue going the distance (on anything in life) allows you to dive in (to you) and uncover your inner core’s deep wounds that need healing, true beliefs, desires worth pursuing, and the trust you need to follow your heart’s messages (the ones that are meant to guide you through the unknown with a sense of calm and knowing that everything will work out for the best).

Here are some ways to go the distance through inner growth.

  1. Define what going the distance means to you and apply that definition to any goal you set to achieve (whether work related or personal/emotional/inner self related).

  1. When you find yourself in a challenging spot and begin to feel like you haven’t done enough, or you could’ve done better, stop to think of two to five ways you’ve done your best so far. Then look for a next step you can take to move past the challenge.

  1. Once a year take a look back to make a list of the things you went the distance on and write about at least one thing you learned about yourself thanks to these events and going the distance from the heart.

Your turn – Share your inner growth thought of the day, a sentence, life examples, or action steps you take with new beginnings 😊
