When something or someone hits a nerve, it is a great opportunity for you to look within and uncover the deeper layers of you.

This inner core exploration allows you to free up from limits that hold you back, while also being able to be at your best in situations where someone or something does something that would typically drain your energy and bring your focus to them instead of inner growth.

Here are some ways to turn around situations where someone or something hits a nerve into positives and opportunities for inner growth.

  1. Make a list of one or two things that hit a nerve in your typical day-to-day and next to each write about the source of frustration; then place two things that can help with the source of frustration in the moment so that you can stay effective.

  1. Write about two feelings that stand out when something or someone hits a nerve and, in one or two sentences, express what those feelings represent about you.

  1. Every time you go through something that hits a nerve, make a list of five things you can do to be at your best and stay empowered through your heart in the moment.

Your turn – Share your inner growth thought of the day, a sentence, life examples, or action steps you take with new beginnings 😊
