Inner Growth Thought of the Day: Experiencing & Dealing With Deep Emotional Moments Through Inner Growth
Emotions are a part of everything we do, which makes them quite influential on our state of being.
Dealing with them through inner growth gets you to turn your focus within and explore the depths of them in a way that keeps you centered and in pursuit of your inner stability as you experience highs and lows.
Here are some ways to experience and deal with your deep emotional moments through an inner growth mindset and focus.
- Any time you are going through a deep emotional moment take five minutes to silence your mind and then list two to three influential characteristics of the situation you’re going through that is bringing about your emotional state. Next find a couple ways to work through the characteristics in a way that doesn’t bring about additional stress.
- Define the emotions that you experience more often using words that describe the more prominent feelings and thoughts that come to mind in those experiences. Notice the common traits that you experience and for those that bring you instability find the opposite traits that can counteract the instability.
- Once a year look back at the top emotional moments that came to be and write about what you learned from them.
