The words you use and the way you speak about things (yourself, the people around you, the world, life, etc.) impacts your potential beyond what we can imagine at times.

Paying attention to how you speak and consciously asking yourself questions about what you say and choosing your words wisely bring about the chance to get to know yourself and choose the potential you want to reach as you pursue inner growth and the life you want.

Here are some ways to explore how you speak in an effort to raise your potential and pursue inner growth.

  1. At the end of each day make a list of two to five important things you talked about. Write a little bit about each of the things you listed and notice if what you had to say had a positive impact on you.

  1. Anytime you notice yourself speaking in a way that impacts you in a way you don’t like, ask yourself why you’re expressing the situation in such a way and decide how you are going to bring a change to how you speak about it.

  1. Every month, make a list of the words you use most and substitute the words that you notice are hurting your potential with words that will boost your potential instead.

Your turn – Share your inner growth thought of the day, a sentence, life examples, or action steps you take with new beginnings 😊
