Inner Growth Thought of the Day: The Power Of Trust In Life
When you explore the trust you have in life, different lessons take place, different opportunities for inner growth; and a world of choices open up in how you want to gain trust in life and/or if you don’t want to or can’t trust in life for reasons you’ll uncover as you contemplate this topic with yourself.
Achieving consciousness of trust in life and/or lack of trust in life, helps you to gain a sense of security in that you know where you stand on the topic with awareness in the moment. The transformations that take place ensuing your initial findings, depend on the openness you wish to achieve in the harmony you are looking to have with the unknown as you live your day-by-day.
Here are some ways to pursue inner growth and trust in life so that you may gain a sense of calm and openness, no matter the circumstance at hand.
- List two to five traits (things, characteristics, etc.) that create trust (for you) and of these, write next to each if life holds them. For those it does embody, write out in what way; and for those it does not, write how it affects your trust in life.
- In a month look at how many times you talked about how life is affecting you. Write out all the ways it affects you and next to each place a T for trust and a ? for uncertainty/fear. Decide how you are going to try and gain trust for the ? in your list.
- Anytime you question life, take that moment to remember all the things life has brought your way that were perfect in timing with your life in that moment (things you didn’t plan for, know about or have any control over; but that were perfect when they happened). Now ask yourself what you can do to give life a chance in this moment of doubt.
