Inner Growth Thought of the Day: How You Feel About Learning Says A Lot
Learning is a part of life since day one and how we feel about it leads us in different directions; especially, when encountering those learning lessons life brings our way.
Going in depth on those feelings (with learning) and working with your inner self to bring about the most openness to learning situations, as well as resolution to any reservations there may be on learning, gets you to embrace the flow of life and the choices you make as you move forward (in life).
Here are some ways to pursue inner growth as you explore how you feel about learning.
- Take a look at those learning moments in life you enjoyed most and the ones you enjoyed least. For each moment you think of, list two to five reasons you felt how you felt about that learning moment. Notice the commonalities between what you enjoyed most and the ones you enjoyed least, next to the least enjoyed commonalities decide what you can do to bring about openness to those situations in the future.
- Use five to ten words to describe what learning means to you. Next to each word, write what feelings come about and for those feelings where resistance is present explore why and what you can do to bring about a feeling that doesn’t cause resistance.
- At the end of each day think of one thing you learned and take notice of how you felt during that moment. Explore your feelings, paying close attention to those ‘off’ feelings so that you may understand why you felt that way and choose an approach that can help you the next time around.
Your turn – Share your inner growth thought of the day, a sentence, life examples, or action steps you take with new beginnings 😊
