Inner Growth Thought of the Day: Overcoming Recurring Obstacles To Harmony
Recurring obstacles or repetitive cycles of situations that take place in your life are a major challenge when your focus lies on the external and not within (in a way that brings about personal growth and acceptance of what you have in front of you).
As you pursue your inner growth journey, your mindset switches to a learning predisposition. This enables you to gain insights on your inner self in those moments and as you notice the things you can work with from what you find within yourself (things like fears to release and/judgements that hold you back), you also start looking at those recurring obstacles or repetitive cycles of situations with different eyes.
Here are some ways to keep inner growth in the forefront and overcome recurring obstacles/cycles once and for all.
- Make a list of recurring obstacles/repeat cycles of situations you notice in your life and for each pick a course of action you will take for the year ahead. At the end of the year evaluate if your course of action helped, how it helped, and what knowledge you gained of you thanks to the experience.
- When you think of the past obstacles you’ve broken out of as repeat cycles, what did you learn about yourself in those situations? What did you let go of? Make a list of each and describe how the obstacle helped you to learn these things about yourself and let go of things that were holding you back.
- Every morning spend five minutes visualizing those repeat patterns as gone, replace them with the new patterns you want to see in your life and/or in you.
Your turn – Share your inner growth thought of the day, a sentence, life examples, or action steps you take with new beginnings 😊
