Inner Growth Thought of the Day: The Choosing Dilemma

Tune in to the Inspiring Human Potential podcast on Anchor to hear more on the topic 😊

When you have to make choices, it isn’t always the most straightforward process, lots of emotions are involved and lots of thinking.

An inner growth mindset and journey helps this choosing dilemma because it gets you to focus within, find your core, strengthen it, and avoid turmoil or insecurities from facing choices, no matter the number of choices you have to choose from.

Here are some ways to keep inner growth in the forefront when choosing on anything in life.

  1. Make a list of the emotions you notice are part of the choosing process. Decide if they benefit you in making choices by looking at how they have affected past choices.  Whatever emotions you feel aren’t benefitting your inner growth when having to make choices are the ones you want to work with in the moment.

  1. When you find yourself doubting yourself during the process of choosing, write out all the reasons why you are doubting you. Next to each reason, put down what you’re going to do to remove your doubts.

  1. Every year take a look at all the choosing situations you faced and write out what transformations you notice in how you feel throughout the process and how much your sense of self-security has grown.

Your turn – Share your inner growth thought of the day, a sentence, life examples, or action steps you take with new beginnings 😊
