Inner Growth Thought of the Day: What Brings About Change
When you think about changing from a personal (inner self) perspective, usually it is because something happened that took you by surprise and shook your foundations.
As you look to regain that foundation in you (since it is what can keep you steady no matter the surprises that come your way), you also recognize how life experiences (including those same surprises) are what get you to find you and use that knowledge to build your foundation.
Here are some ways to keep approaching what brings about change in a way that pursues inner growth.
- Anytime you think about change for you write out why you want this change and how do you see it becoming a consistent part of your life.
- Make a list of all the past changes you’ve made in your life and next to each write about how they help you today to deal with the unknown and keep pursuing your passions.
- Use five words to describe change and its relationship to transforming your life into one you’ve always dreamed of having and one where you are the person you know you can be.
