Inner Growth Thought of the Day: Ways To Handle Challenges

Challenges come in different shapes and sizes, so to speak, and the same goes for how you handle them.

 

When handled in a way that keeps inner growth and your heart in the forefront, you stay open to the lessons behind the challenges that take place in your day-to-day.

 

Here are some ways to handle challenges while keeping inner growth and your heart present throughout the process.

 

  1. When deciding on the next steps to overcome a challenge you’re facing, make a list of the ways you typically handle these situations and next to each item, add a new way that you want to work through this challenge.

 

  1. Remind yourself in challenging moments that there’s always something to learn and bring your focus to what you are learning about yourself in that moment (are you applying judgment, is fear part of the moment, or are you thinking of past events, and so on).

 

  1. Choose a thought that brings a feeling of harmony and safety within (inside you, you know that sense of calm). Take five minutes each day to think about this thought and after awakening those feelings, bring about the challenge you’re dealing with to see what ideas come about on how you can handle it moving forward.
