Inner Growth Thought of the Day: Staying Open & Following Your Gut

Tune in to the Inspiring Human Potential podcast on Anchor to hear more on the topic 😊

Staying open and following your gut is a very interesting mix to put into action.  Sometimes doubt can creep in on what your gut is telling you because at the same time you’re conscious that you want to stay open to other possibilities.

Finding that perfect balance entails following what your intuition is saying, while knowing that unexpected events can take place.

To avoid self-doubt when staying open to what could be, try some of the following things.

  1. As soon as you notice second-guessing yourself while trying to make a decision, take a step back and remind yourself that going with your gut doesn’t mean not being open to something else.

  1. Make a mental note of what happened the times you doubted yourself and went against your instincts.

  1. When you have to make important decisions that you feel confused about, write a list of your gut’s feelings and the doubts, find harmony between the two in what steps you can take that will satisfy your worry and your instincts.

Your turn – Share your inner growth thought of the day, a sentence, life examples, or action steps you take with new beginnings 😊
