Inner Growth Thought of the Day: Getting Stuck & Unstuck

Tune in to the Inspiring Human Potential podcast on Anchor to hear more on the topic 😊

Sometimes we get stuck in where we’re headed because of second guessing our intuitions and when we look for guidance elsewhere to stay open to other ideas this second guessing of ourselves leads to greater confusion on what to do.

While it’s a positive to stay open to other inputs and the things that happen around us that lead us to make decisions, it is something you can do while not second guessing yourself.

By avoiding to second guess yourself with the knowledge of wanting to stay open you can make the choices that are in tune with your heart. Here are some ways to help you do this.

  1. When you are getting ready to make an important decision and find yourself second guessing your first intuitions on the matter, ask why you’re second guessing yourself. If your answer is uncertainty, remember that no one answer is going to necessarily avoid the uncertainty to the outcome of your decision.

  1. Make a list of all the times you followed your intuition that lead you where you wanted to be and keep this list handy for when you are second guessing yourself.

  1. If you find yourself rethinking different scenarios of how something can go, make a list of pros and cons with what your intuition is telling you and then evaluate based on what feels right in that moment.

Your turn – Share your inner growth thought of the day, a sentence, life examples, or action steps you take with new beginnings 😊
