Inner Growth Thought of the Day: Looking Out For Yourself

Tune in to the Inspiring Human Potential podcast on Anchor to hear more on the topic 😊

The bias towards doing things for one’s self can lead to situations of stress and concern for people who are trying to pursue inner growth and harmony.

As long as your inner growth journey affects you alone, so your time, perspectives, thoughts, what you try to share with the world to help, there is nothing wrong with your self-serving journey because you are not taking away or affecting anyone else but yourself and your day to day life.

Here are some ways to stay on track with looking out for yourself in a harmonious way with the world around you.

  1. When faced with deciding something, ask yourself if this affects solely you or also another/others. If it involves another/others, then that other(s) should be (as you would want to be) involved in the decision process.

  1. Make a list of the things you do to bring inner harmony to your day to day and note how they help you share more love and positivity with others.

  1. In those moments of doubt towards a decision made, look to your heart to find your center and remember the heart, the why, of that decision.

Your turn – Share your inner growth thought of the day, a sentence, life examples, or action steps you take with new beginnings 😊
