Inner Growth Thought of the Day: Overcoming Confusion
There are a number of things that can lead to confusion and that makes you feel lost; particularly depending on your environment and the self-doubts that can arise from the external inputs you get.
The one thing that will always help you overcome confusion is tuning in to your inner-self and to what feels right, while also being open to the external inputs that come your way as a learning tool (learn about you, your inner self, and the world at large, finding a balance in it all that resonates).
Here are some ways to overcome confusion in those important moments and that can assist you on your inner growth journey.
- When confusion arises, remove external inputs for a minute and tune in to the inclination of your heart. With that inclination make decisions of what you want your next steps to be. Re-evaluate your next steps as you take them and correct them along the way as you see what’s working to bring you closer to inner harmony.
- Make a list of the things you feel you are most confused about (in general). Next to each item create a bullet point list of the reasons for the confusion. Look over that list, one by one, and tune in to what resonates with you and what doesn’t.
- Anytime you feel confused, think of the times your heart led the way and steered you in what ended up being a positive result for your peace of mind. Apply that feeling in the moment and notice what solutions come to mind that will help you overcome that specific confusion you’re going through.
