Inner Growth Thought of the Day: The Process & You
When it’s time to see how one is involved in the process of inner growth, change, transformation, and all that comes with the experience of life; it isn’t always easy. The biggest challenge is thinking that if you are involved in your own life (so that means your own problems and pains) that then you are to blame, or you are “guilty” of something.
This is the case when you stick to a conflict mindset, when in an inner growth mindset on the other hand you realize that the process of growth, change, transformation, and experiences of life are all about learning things. You gain knowledge of yourself thanks to focusing inward and to the external that gives you situations to explore, for without you would not have anything to explore.
Here are some ways to keep the process and you (your involvement) in the inner growth mindset so that you can gain your takeaways.
- Life experiences that hit a nerve are the ones you want to look at by removing yourself, the personal component, and seeing what you can learn about yourself through that perspective.
- Make a list throughout the year of how you affected the situations that were most important emotionally. List how or if love was a component of each way you affected the situation; if love was absent, how did that change how you affected the situation in that case.
- Every day choose one way you will actively participate pursuing inner growth that day by looking within/exploring your inner self.
