Inner Growth Thought of the Day: Breaking Free From Your Limits
Breaking free from your limits takes time, patience and inner insight to the point of knowing that you know that you don’t know everything and that this is a life long journey. Reaching this level of self-awareness and objectivity takes time and practice because that is what is required for something to transform and become that “automatic” new perspective.
Instead of old patterns persevering, which hold those limited views in your life and consequently in your actions and what you can achieve; when you apply this level of objectivity in every moment, in time you are able to see those limits clearly and with that gained awareness in the moment remove them (set them aside) so that you stay open in the moment and expand your vision to entail any number of possibilities.
Here are some ways you can break free from your limits and pursue inner growth (both as a mindset and way of life) to inspire your highest potential every chance you get.
- Make a list of the limits you are aware you have and want to let go of. Add to it and remove from it anytime there’s a change to the limits (so revisit it daily, weekly, monthly, when you know something’s changed).
- With this list take note every time your limits come into play in a life situation so that you can start gaining awareness of them as they are taking place.
- Once identifying when your limits are happening in the moment becomes obvious to you in the moment (it’s in your awareness as you’re living the experience), you want to work with yourself to set the limit (or limits) aside, and allow yourself to look at things from that neutral perspective.
