Inner Growth Word of the Day: Inexcusable
Merriam-Webster Dictionary definition: (adj.) impossible to excuse or justify.
Inexcusable in a sentence: When something is inexcusable it doesn’t mean you have to hold on to it; you can always choose to let it go.
Inexcusable in action: Something that you find hard to allow, that is inexcusable.
Inexcusable and inner growth: Exploring what you deem inexcusable brings inner growth as you understand your why and contemplate how and if you plan on letting it go so that it doesn’t hold you back.
Inexcusable and inner growth action steps:
- In-depth self-exploration questions: What do I find inexcusable? How has something inexcusable affected my life? When did I first consider an action or thing inexcusable? Have I done things I consider inexcusable? How have inexcusable situations affected my life? How has something inexcusable affected my relationships? Are there inexcusable traits I find myself face to face with throughout the days?
- List or word bubble: Make a list or word bubble with inexcusable at the center and then list or put around it all the words that come to mind associated with it. Think of one thing you find inexcusable and write about it using the words from your list. Notice if anything particular stands out about it.
- Bring your awareness to your feelings about the inexcusable and allow the emotions and thoughts that arise to flow, don’t sit on one emotion or thought just yet. Instead, notice what types of emotions come by and where they seem to arise from within. When you’re ready focus on one thought at a time, and ensure you keep your emotions flowing if you notice any stagnating and sitting around.
