Inner Growth Word of The Day 273 – Partners

September 30

Inner Growth Word of the Day: Partners

Merriam-Webster Dictionary definition: (n.) 2 a. one associated with another especially in an action.

Partners in a sentence: Partners come in all shapes and sizes, from business to family to friendship to intimate relationship; and no matter the type, they always add to your day to day.

Partners in action: One or more people who work with you on something or accompany you in your life’s journey, those are partners.

Partners and inner growth: Exploring the types of partners you have in your life and how you are as a partner brings inner growth since it gets you to look into the relationships you build and why you give what you give to your partners.

Partners and inner growth action steps:

  1. In-depth self-exploration questions: How do partners affect my life?  What types of partners have I surrounded myself with?  When did I start looking into my partners by looking inward and to how I am with them?  What have I learned about life from my partners?  Why are partners important to me?

  1. List or word bubble: Make a list or word bubble with partners at the center and then list or put around it all the words that come to mind associated with it. From that list pick two words and think of two events where your partners made a difference in the outcome of a situation.  Write about these events using the rest of the words from your list.

  1. Bring your awareness to your feelings about partners and allow those emotions to flow throughout. Notice where your emotions are going and how they change depending on the thoughts that cross your mind.

Your turn – Share your partners sentence, life examples, and inner growth action steps; and let me know if you’d like to see something added to our Inner Growth Word of The Day explorations 🙂
