Blinded and inner growth: The array of reasons we are blinded give us lots to explore and get answers from that help our inner growth as we uncover those reasons and answers, and as we then decide what we want to do next.
Blinded and inner growth action steps:
- In-depth self-exploration questions: What does it mean to me to be blinded? How has being blinded by some people and things affected my life? How have my own judgements blinded me? When was the first time I realized I was blinded when it came to certain life events? How has being blinded affected my relationships? What’s a key takeaway from every time I became aware of being blinded by something or someone?
- List or word bubble: Make a list or word bubble with blinded at the center and then list or put around it all the words that come to mind associated with it. Now think of one life event where you were most blinded due to a person. Write about what happened, how you felt and your key takeaways using the words from your list.
- Bring your awareness to your feelings about when you are blinded and allow these to flow without thinking much, just let the emotions take their course while you pay attention to where they arise, what they do, and where they go. When you’re ready let thoughts come to mind and pay close attention to the thoughts that provoke a more obvious change in emotions.
