Merriam-Webster Dictionary definition: (n.) existing in the mind but not immediately available to consciousness.

Subconsciousness in a sentence: Everyone catches a glimpse of their subconsciousness, how often depends on the level of attentiveness one has when subconsciousness appears in consciousness.

Subconsciousness in action: The thoughts that to come mind, but that are not in consciousness immediately are subconsciousness.

Subconsciousness and inner growth: Tapping into your subconsciousness allows you to get answers to actions you take or thoughts you think that you weren’t sure about, where they stemmed from or why.  Once you get to see the you below the surface too, it’s easier to pursue inner growth at a deeper level and come full circle with things you want to tackle or understand about yourself.

Subconsciousness and inner growth action steps:

  1. In-depth self-exploration questions: Am I aware of my subconsciousness? What have I learned from my subconsciousness?  How has my subconsciousness affected me?  How has it affected my life?  When did I realize that I was tapping into my subconsciousness?  What ways do I make my subconsciousness reach consciousness?  Have I helped others to tap into their subconsciousness?  If so, how did I help?

  1. List or word bubble: Make a list or word bubble with subconsciousness at the center and then list or put around it all the words that come to mind associated with it. From this list describe what happens on a day to day basis in your life.  Do this as if your subconsciousness were a part of your daily life, so not hidden behind your consciousness.  What do you notice about what you wrote down and your subconsciousness?

  1. Bring your awareness to your feelings about subconsciousness and while this takes place try to tap into your subconsciousness and allow thoughts to come by, one by one. Give each thought some attention, five minutes or so, and then move on to the next.  What stands out when you do this?  Are there any unique feelings that come to be?
