Inner Growth Thought of the Day: Facing Your Fears With Love
Facing fears isn’t always the most straightforward, particularly when burying or hiding them from your consciousness through the idea that you’ve moved forward from them just because you “said so” (decided so). Luckily, there are inner talks, inner cues, and inner growth contemplations that can help you ensure you face your fears completely and with love.
Exploring your fears through inner growth gets you to face them from your consciousness (not keep them hidden in your unconsciousness and subconsciousness), which enables you to work in time towards their complete dissolution and not a temporary fix, which has them come back all of the sudden out of “nowhere”. Thanks to an inner growth mindset bringing forth an honest self-awareness in the moment and acceptance from the heart of who you are (what your inner core has to say), you enable your emotions of your fears to express themselves while also giving yourself the chance to do different things to work through those fears (time and time again, until you achieve inner harmony and peace with them).
Here are some ways to face your fears completely through inner growth and by bringing love to them along the way.
- When you notice yourself talking about something in a way that indicates some level of uneasiness take a couple minutes to explore your feelings and ask what’s the challenge you’re facing from within (from your inner core, your heart) with this situation you’re talking about. Bring to your moment of exploration love and understanding for you, and decide one way you’re going to bring these same feelings to the situation when it arises again (whether in conversation, thought or in life).
- Make a list of all the things you deal with in a year that upset you in a way that hold you back from expressing your full potential. Next to each item describe how you work through these situations from the heart and then decide if you feel you’ve completely overcome these things that upset you or not. Keep your list to revisit it year after year so that you can add to it and track progress on those situations you’re working through.
- Every time you mention or talk about fears make it a habit to notice how your body reacts to the conversation or if any particular thoughts cross your mind. Whatever stands out that makes you feel and think there’s something there that you should explore more in depth within you (from your inner core), take some time to do this as soon as you get the chance. Write about what you’re feeling, thinking, and how you want to apply inner growth to resolve whatever it is you find out from the heart that is bothering you about that fear you mentioned or were talking about.
Your turn – Share your inner growth thought of the day, a sentence, life examples, or action steps you take with new beginnings 😊
