Inner Growth Thought of the Day: Why Should You Be Any Different

The inner conversations you have on ‘why should you be any different’ than who you are involve several helpful aspects for your inner growth journey as you pursue being more of you from within.

 

With a focus on your inner core and the external, the conflicts that arise between the two in relationship to your identity (how you see yourself from the heart) and deciding what identity to pursue, you gain awareness of the doubts that remain and/or hold you back from being your own leader (from within, your heart, your inner core).  This knowledge empowers you to make decisions on that identity in your consciousness, which also brings you to decide if you want to pursue your higher potential or not.

 

Here are some ways to explore the inner identity topic of ‘why should you be any different’ with inner growth in the forefront so that you may bring about a positive inner conversation.

 

  1. Any time you find yourself comparing you with others list three reasons why this comparison is invalid. Also, list three reasons why you are comparing yourself in the first place.  From the reasons you list, identify what it is you’re searching for and look within you for the answers.

 

  1. Pay attention to how you feel when someone says you’re different from them or different from the crowd. Write about those feelings and wherever you spot self-doubt, write one to three self-encouraging words for your uniqueness and how it brings a positive outcome in your life (from within and in the external).

 

  1. At the end of the year make a mental note of all the instances where you felt out of place and write one to three things your inner growth journey helped you do in those moments so that you would remove the out of place feeling thanks to learning about one of your inner core’s conflicts and/or doubts that was taking place.
