Inner Growth Thought of the Day: Choosing Your Words Well
When it comes to choosing your words well, there’s much you can uncover about yourself as you explore how and why you choose your words.
Your inner growth exploration of your choice of words gets you to focus on them from within and take note of how they affect your life, goals, and inner harmony/peace. Along the way you note the deeper meanings behind the words you choose and how choosing them well consciously brings forth what you want from your inner core instead of the opposite.
Here are some ways to choose your words well through inner growth and raising of consciousness of things you want to overcome, release, and bring forth as you pursue your unlimited potential.
- Every day notice what major events took place and list two to five words you used in those events. Rank those words as positive, neutral, or negative for what you wanted to achieve through your words for the major events in question.
- Once a year notice the choice of words that were more common for you to use in tough moments when you were down. Make two categories for words that were supportive and self-loving and that were unsupportive and unloving. Look to transform the unsupportive and unloving words with ones that support and share self-love.
- Every so often take the time to review the words you choose to describe your goals throughout the year and in time. Make a list of your goals and next to each goal place two to three choice of words you’ve noticed you commonly use to express and talk about that goal. Any choice of words that are not helping you to move forward in your goals, decide on two to three ways you’re going to transform/change the words you choose to use moving forward (as you pursue your goals).
Your turn – Share your inner growth thought of the day, a sentence, life examples, or action steps you take with new beginnings 😊
