Inner Growth Thought of the Day: Only You Set Your Limits
When it comes to limits, it always starts and ends with you. No matter the physical “limits” you may encounter, if for you they are no limits at all, that is how you will go about the situation.
As you pursue inner growth you come to know the choice you have between being limited and unlimited in the options you have, in the consciousness you choose, in the belief you bring forward, and in the limits or lack of limits that you set for yourself. The journey is never-ending and always interesting in how much potential you find you have to share with yourself and the world around you.
Here are some ways to explore limits to pursue inner growth and decide on those set limits.
- Once a month take the time to write about two to five situations you faced where you felt you were limited in your options and the things you could do. Then decide on some ways you can work around the feeling and pursue alternative routes for those situations.
- Make a list of the limits you feel are holding you back from being all that you can be. Take the time to write about one to two ways you’re going to face those limits so that you can move forward in your journey.
- Once a year review any major incident/life event that revealed to you how much your thoughts and beliefs of set limits affect what you do and how far you will go to accomplish something. Make it a point to remember these moments in the year ahead so that you move forward in any new situation where you will feel set limits are present.
