Inner Growth Thought of the Day: Working Through Self-Doubt
Tune in to the Inspiring Human Potential podcast on Anchor to hear more on the topic 😊
Working through self-doubt is one of those ongoing processes that only ends when you stop doubting yourself and begin trusting yourself while staying open to external inputs that can add to your thoughts, decisions, and ways; but without taking away from your inner core’s message and guidance.
As you pursue inner growth you become conscious of the difference between self-doubt and staying open to external inputs and you learn to make the best of these moments so that you may decide what transformation you want to see that allows you to release self-doubt completely and/or accept that it is a part of your decision process without judging yourself “good or bad”.
Here are some ways to work through self-doubt and stay open to external inputs.
- Any time self-doubt arises, write about three things that stand out the most about the (self-doubt) moment. Next decide three things that counteract these doubts and bring forth a decision you feel comfortable with (even if not 100% sure about).
- Once a month take a look at the moments where you doubted yourself and were able to remove that doubt. Write about what helped you remove the doubt and how it felt to do that in the moment.
- Every year take the chance to list two to three inner growth experiences that came from moments of self-doubt. Write about how your inner exploration helped you to gain trust in your inner core (and decisions).
Your turn – Share your inner growth thought of the day, a sentence, life examples, or action steps you take with new beginnings 😊
