Inner Growth Thought of the Day: Doing Something New & Inner Growth
When doing something new it’s always interesting to take a deep dive into understanding your approach and feelings towards this something new.
Inner growth gets you to gain consciousness of your inner core’s desires and fears in these moments, which helps you move forward in a steady manner. It is thanks to your inner exploration that you are able to embrace the new with its unknown components (that can tend to throw you off) and lead you to transform your relationship with the new in future moments.
Here are some ways to apply inner growth to doing something new.
- Every time you are faced with doing something new take five minutes to jot down the feelings that arise and two to three thoughts that come to mind (immediately following the realization that you’re doing something new). Decide what you can do to bring yourself to feeling and thinking about this something new in a way that leads you to express and be at your higher potential.
- Make a list of the different words you think of when you are dealing with doing something new. Notice what the words represent about how you feel and think about your potential in these new situations.
- Once a year look at the new things you did and write three ways doing these things brought about inner growth and a positive transformation towards expressing your unlimited potential in these situations.
