Inner Growth Thought of the Day: Working Through & Expressing Your Emotions Fully
Working through and expressing your emotions fully is something that we all tend to do, and that goes through an amazing transformation as you pursue inner growth.
As you live with inner growth in the forefront, you go within to understand your inner core (heart) and learn about it, which means you are also able to express it more and more. As you live emotions that are a part of your daily life and inner growth journey, you start sharing these emotions in ways that get you to understand what to do, be understood, and also accept not being fully understand. This and more allows you to work through and express those emotions that occupy you fully throughout your days.
Here are some ways to work through and express your emotions as you pursue inner growth.
- Every day make a list of two to three of the most prevalent emotions you experienced in the day. When you have five minutes describe the emotions and what brought them about in two to three different ways.
- Once a year look back at one of the most important conversations you had with someone on the emotions you were feeling in regard to them or an important situation that took place. Write about two to three things you learned from this conversation about expressing and working through your emotions.
- Make it a habit to try and communicate your emotions to others in the language they speak on emotions. Write about the experience every time you go through it and write two things that stood out about the conversation that can help you in the future to communicate (express) your emotions to different types of mindsets.
