Acceptance from the heart means taking situations, relationships, life events and anything that you encounter along your day-to-day that throws you off your game and looking within to find out what exactly is affecting you so that you may come to peace with it from the heart in your own unique way.

 

This type of acceptance is what will rid yourself of the unsteadiness certain things bring your way; and when you are pursuing acceptance from the heart through inner growth, you also allow yourself to pursue the transformations you want and need to move along in your inner growth journey to find and be your highest potential.

 

Here are some ways to work through acceptance from the heart with inner growth at your side.

 

  1. When you become conscious of emotional rockiness because of someone or something, write down three things that come to mind about your doubts or fears (concerns, worries, etc.). As you read what you wrote down, find one to two things you can do to replace the rockiness with solid ground for each item.

 

  1. Define what acceptance from the heart means to you, and anytime you notice you are not accepting something that is happening turn to your definition. As you reread/think about your definition, find out what you need to release from the situation that is causing you to hold on to something instead of letting go and accepting it for what it is showing you it is.

 

  1. Once a year review all the situations where you were brought to accept something or someone from the heart. Write about two to five things you learned about yourself and how it helped you bring your inner growth journey to the next level.
