Inner Growth Thought of the Day: Awareness Of Your Perspective In The Moment
Having awareness of your perspective in the moment is essential if you’re going to expand to your unlimited potential in general in life and your day-to-day, and in the moment.
Our personal limits are created by our perspective when we are not aware of them, but through awareness you are able to include your perspective as part of the puzzle (and not the only piece to it). Your inner growth journey allows you to become aware of it more and more and to embrace all the knowledge and life experiences that come your way that fall outside of your own individual perspective. With everything in sight, you are able to expand your choices and flex your perspective muscles to stay open and see more of what is in front of you.
Here are some ways to use inner growth to gain awareness of your perspective in the moment.
- When you are faced with perplexities about a situation bring to mind an opposing view and perception from yours to recognize in the moment that there can be more than one way to perceive something or someone. Add to these two views a third possible way to perceive something or someone.
- Make a list that you add to in time on how you see, perceive and feel things. In your list add the new ones you encounter through your interactions with others.
- Every time you have a major aha moment on the differences in perspectives there are amongst people make a mental note of it to keep this in mind. Also, notice if there are judgements on your end of those perspectives that are influencing your perceptions of them and/or keeping you closed off to acknowledging them as is.
