Inner Growth Thought of the Day: Exploring Consistency Through Inner Growth
Consistency is a fundamental characteristic to pursuing any goal. However, knowing one’s own relationship with consistency and the unique form it takes according to you is quite a different story.
Through an inner growth approach to your relationship with consistency you contemplate how you work best and how you are constant in the things you do. Since inner growth puts you in a neutral state, reminding you to focus on your inner core without judgement, but instead with a learning focus; you gain knowledge and then apply your consistency in the way you find out it works best for you. You are also able to make changes if you wish to do so thanks to your gained awareness in the moment.
Here are some ways to pursue your exploration of consistency through inner growth.
- Write two to three ways you feel about consistency and for each feeling write two or three ways this feeling helps you apply consistency in the moment. Do this for every time you apply consistency to something you’re doing.
- When you have situations that require consistency but are having a hard time applying it, write about this challenge and what’s causing the resistance. Then find one or two ways you can remove the resistance in a way that gets you to be consistent with a habit, action or characteristic that is more in tune with you.
- Once a year write about a major event that stands out in how you were able to apply consistency in your own unique way and be successful with your intended pursuit thanks to the gained knowledge.
Your turn – Share your inner growth thought of the day, a sentence, life examples, or action steps you take with new beginnings 😊
