Inner Growth Thought of the Day: Something To Believe In
There’s always something to believe in when you think about it and as you grow up those “somethings” can stay the same, transform, move you forward through inspiration or even hold you back through ideas that set unseen limits.
Getting to know how your “somethings” affect you is something you get to do as you pursue inner growth. Through awareness of this knowledge you then gain the power to choose what’s next and how your “somethings” can inspire your untapped unlimited potential.
Here are some ways to take an inner growth approach to this exploration of beliefs.
- Make a list of all the things you believe in and update it as you gain new or expanded beliefs. Next to each belief write a couple sentences describing how the belief affects your life, and anything you notice poses limits add to your description what you’re going to do to remove the limit.
- Keep in mind the one belief that stems from the heart and tells you anything is possible. When you find yourself facing a difficult situation turn to this belief for guidance.
- Once a year pick the one situation where what you believed in most helped you move forward and/or kept you back from moving forward. Write two to three characteristics that stand out from the experience and write about what knowledge/insights they give to your belief in unlimited potential.
