Inner Growth Thought of the Day: Allowing Your Internal Guidance System To Lead

Tune in to the Inspiring Human Potential podcast on Anchor to hear more on the topic 😊

When you tune in to your inner core you are one step closer to allowing your internal guidance system to lead the way.  What gets you to pursue this inner guidance involves a growing knowledge of all that is a part of you, and complete trust of what your inner core speaks in its purest form.

As you pursue inner growth you fine tune your listening skills thanks to raising your awareness, knowledge, and consciousness of the feelings and thought processes that arise.  This means you identify the external inputs that play a role in what seems to be guidance from the heart (from your inner core), but that instead, comprise of layers from the outside (external) that could create layers or filters of fear, doubt or thoughts and beliefs that are not heartfelt.

Here are some ways to allow your internal guidance system to lead without being misled by that which is not heartfelt or a part of your inner core’s true message.

  1. Define what your internal guidance system is to you and how you identify it in the moment. Every so often, revisit your definition and identification process and add to it or takeaway something that can keep you on track with following your inner guide from the heart.

  1. Make a list of two to five things you found out in time were not a true part of your internal guidance system. Write about how you uncovered this knowledge and write two to three identifying characteristics of this process to help you spot when it’s happening again in the future.

  1. Once a year look back to see what areas of your life you allowed your internal guidance system to lead and in what areas you did not allow this to happen. Evaluate both and decide moving forward how to work with the areas you did not allow your inner core to lead the way by learning from the areas where you did allow this to happen.

Your turn – Share your inner growth thought of the day, a sentence, life examples, or action steps you take with new beginnings 😊
