Inner Growth Thought of the Day: Questions That Make You Think
Those questions that make you think are what get you to make the biggest strides in your inner growth journey. They bring you to reach the depths of you and uncover your inner core with all that is a part of the essence of you.
As you uncover the layers that keep you from expressing your unlimited potential and inner core, you learn about you and how everything plays its part in the life you have and in the life you can have; it all depends on the choices you make moving forward.
Here are some ways to pursue questions that make you think and lead to inner growth.
- When you are in a moment of doubt or turmoil, or anytime you feel stuck, start with “why” (why do I feel this way, why am I stuck) and from this “why” answer, move to asking two to five questions that explore that answer considering aspects that are a part of the external (culture, judgements, opinions, society, etc.).
- In your day-to-day, notice how often you feel limited in what you can express to others and explore that limit through two to three questions that get you to identify if the limit is an actual impossibility or if it’s an “illusionary limit”, meaning that it speaks to deeper seated situations such as fear, doubt, insecurities, judgements, etc.
- Once a year make a list of 12 questions regarding your purpose in life and your personal meaning of life. Explore one of the questions per month (to get through all 12 of them in the year) and notice how this affects your take on life, what actions you take to pursue your purpose and meaning of life, and the feelings that accompanies the exploration.
Your turn – Share your inner growth thought of the day, a sentence, life examples, or action steps you take with new beginnings 😊
