Inner Growth Thought of the Day: The Struggle Is Real, But So Is The Solution
There are those who look for ways to solve struggles by finding concrete solutions and/or by transforming struggles into learning opportunities. These individuals know from the heart that they will find a way to overcome struggle and deal with it, and that this way lies within them, their inner core, which is also what brings them to embark on an inner growth journey.
As these individuals pursue their journey and start sharing the solutions they’ve found to their struggles, the victories in the small things, and the transformation that is taking place from within; they will sometimes encounter people who aren’t supportive. In these moments, the chosen journey that pursues inner growth will find a way to make this encounter a learning experience as well, which may in time show the way to others who are skeptical and non-supportive to inner growth.
Here are some ways to pursue solutions for your struggles through inner growth.
- When you’re faced with a struggle list two to three things that concern you the most and cause you the most emotional stress. For each item you list, decide one way you’re going to focus on a solution to your concern so that you may also lessen the emotional stress involved.
- Once a year take a look at the struggles you faced and make a list of the ones that were major emotional ones. Write about three things you learned about yourself and how dealing with them through inner growth helped you see the hidden opportunities.
- When you encounter unsupportive words for how you’re approaching your struggles, pay attention to the feelings that arise and if doubt takes place to what extent it affects you. Understand what your feelings and doubts have to share, such as: you wishing for acceptance and understanding; or having fear of rejection, or wanting approval, and so on. Decide one way you’re going to minimize doubt and increase your inner core’s chosen path.
